All's Fair in Love and War

I was in the local ice cream parlor down town, when I caught my eye on a fine number. He had a face only a mother could love. Not to mention he was dressed to the nines!I tell ya, if looks could kill. I was in seventh heaven, and holding back the wild butterflies in my stomach. They say oposites attract and this man was surely my oposite! Never say never I thought. After all, I`d been looking for love as if I was looking for a needle in a haystack. Let`s just say very picky! He approached me looking like the cat who ate the canary. Boy oh boy, he was one smooth operator. In a nutshell, he was everything! Defiantly more than the cats meow! I finally decided that its not wheather you win or lose it`s how you play the game, and sometimes you just got to let your hair down. I`ve been unlucky in cards, but lucky in love so I hoped on the bandwagon. Love is blind, but I knew this man was right up my alley. I don`t mean to sound so cliche but they do say it`s not over til the fat lady sings, and I hear a Mozart concerteo!
